Clinical Information

Intended Use:  The quantitative determination of the thrombin time in citrated human plasma.  Thrombin Time is suitable for monitoring fibrinolysis therapy, screening for disorders of fibrin formation and in cases of suspected fibrinogen deficiency states.  It is also useful for the differentiation between a heparin induced prolongation of the thrombin time and fibrin formation disorders.

Preferred Volume to Collect: 2.7 mL (full tube)

Minimum Volume to Collect: 1.8 mL (full tube)

Collection Instructions:
