- Vitamin D (25-Hydroxy) is the preferred test to diagnose Vitamin D insufficiency and monitor response to therapy.
- Testing is recommended only for patients at risk for Vitamin D insufficiency.

Container(s): Gold top (Serum Separator SST), Red top acceptable
Preferred Volume to Collect: 5.0 mL
Minimum Volume to Collect: 1.0 mL
