Preferred Volume to Collect: 5.0 mL
Minimum Volume to Collect: 1.0 mL
Neonate Volume to Collect: 1.0 mL

Collection Instructions:
- Gently invert gold tube(s) 8 - 10 times to mix clot activator with blood.
- Specimen should be processed within 2 hours – See Processing Instructions.

- Processed Specimen: Serum
- Centrifuge/Spin: Yes
- Aliquot: No
- Processing Instructions: Allow blood to clot for 30 minutes in a vertical position and centrifuge within 2 hours.
- Transport Temperature: Refrigerate

IgG antibodies to Measles detected suggesting previous exposure through infection or vaccination.
Equivocal (0.9-1.0 AI)
Negative (≤0.8 AI)
Absence of IgG antibodies specific to Measles suggesting no previous exposure through infection or vaccination.
