Francisella tularensis Antibody, IgM and IgG, ELISA, Serum - Aiding in the diagnosis of tularemia caused by Francisella tularensis.
This test should not be used as a test of cure as it is not quantitative. Patients may remain seropositive for months to years following resolution of disease.
Specimen Requirements
Collect (preferred specimen): One Gold-top SST tube.
Also acceptable: One plain Red-top tube

Centrifuge to separate serum or plasma from cells within two hours of collection. Transfer serum to a plastic transport tube and refrigerate (2-8°C or 36-46°F).
