Container/Tube: SAF Container (clear liquid) of the stool specimen collection kit, or sterile urine cup (for worms)

Collection Instructions:

• Parasite in preservative or sterile container

CHS Lice/Louse Collection

Collection Instructions: Parasite in sterile container

• Suspected head louse
  • Suspected lice or nit submitted in a clean, dry, clear container
  • Hair, preferably from the back of the neck, pulled out or cut close to the scalp and submitted in a clean, dry, clear container.
• Suspected body louse
  • Piece of contaminated clothing with suspected nits, preferably at the seam.
  • Suspected lice submitted in a clean, dry, clear container
• Suspected pubic louse
  • Suspected lice or nit submitted in a clean, dry, clear container
  • Hair, preferably from the pubic are, or from eyebrow, eyelash, beard, mustache, chest or armpits, pulled out or cut and submitted in a clean, dry, clear container
