Specimen Type: Serum (preferred) or plasma, frozen
Container/Tube: Gel-barrier tube, red top tube or lavender-top (EDTA) tube
Volume: 1 mL
Minimum volume: 0.5 mL 
Collection Instructions: Allow specimen to clot for 30 minutes and centrifuge within 1 hour. Aliquot serum and freeze.
