Epic Code LAB3496 Adenovirus, PCR, Quantitative, Plasma/Whole Blood
Test Name Alias
Adenovirus Quant PCR | Adenovirus DNA Quant | 7019
Interface Order Alias
11756
Quick Collect
Clinical Information
Results are reported in copies per milliliter (c/mL). The lower quantitative sensitivity was validated to 200 c/mL. To facilitate longitudinal tracking, if no viral DNA is detected, the result is reported as 0 (zero). Low positive results, below 200 c/mL, will be reported, but should be interpreted with caution. Viral loads greater than the upper limit of the assay are reported as >10 million.
