Preferred Volume to Collect: 6.0 mL

Minimum Volume to Collect: 1.0 mL

Pediatric Volume to Collect: 0.5 mL

Capillary Collect Acceptable? Yes

Collection Instructions:

• Gently invert EDTA tube(s) 8 - 10 times after collection.
• CHW: BB 2 SIGNERS: All specimens collected for the blood bank must have two signatures (collector and witness) on the specimen written in ink that is resistant to smearing. (Policytech Reference: #6476)
