Clinical Information
The JAK2 V617F Mutation assay uses next generation sequencing to detect the presence of the V617F mutation which can be used to monitor disease progression in certain myeloproliferative disorders. If the JAK2 V617F mutation is absent, the MPN Expanded panel will automatically reflex.
The MPN Expanded panel assay uses next generation sequencing and fragmentation analysis to detect well defined mutations in CALR exon 9, JAK2 exon 12 and MPL exon 10, which, in addition to BCR-ABL gene fusion and JAK2 V617F mutation testing, aids in the diagnosis of Myeloproliferative Neoplasms.
