Clinical Information
Transglutaminase IgA Antibody is a highly sensitive and specific marker for celiac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis, and should be used as the primary screening test for these disorders. Transglutaminase IgG Antibody is less specific for these diseases, but may be a useful marker in patients with IgA deficiency.

- Gently invert gold tube(s) 8-10 times to mix clot activator with blood.
- Specimen should be processed within 2 hours – See Processing Instructions.
