- <50 ng/mL – Low risk of AKI. This result does not exclude subsequent development of AKI; repeat if clinically indicated.
- 50-149 ng/mL – Equivocal risk of AKI; repeat measurement is indicated if clinically justified.
- 150-300 ng/mL – Moderate risk of AKI; test result has high sensitivity/moderate specificity.
- >300 ng/mL – High risk of AKI; test result has high specificity.
